5 Places to eat when road cycling in southern Spain

Road Cycling in and around Ronda offers spectacular rides, as well as great places to eat along the way. Ronda is perched high above the dramatic El Tajo gorge in Andalucía, is one of Spain’s most spectacular bases for road cycling. Quiet mountain roads, challenging climbs, and sweeping descents make the Serranía de Ronda a paradise for cyclists. Routes towards Zahara de la Sierra, Grazalema, and the Genal Valley offer breathtaking scenery and unforgettable riding. Just as important as the road cycling, however, is the food. After hours in the saddle, Ronda offers plenty of welcoming places to refuel. Here are five excellent spots to eat while cycling in the Ronda area.

Las Maravillas – Ronda

Located near the famous Puente Nuevo bridge, on Calle Espinal, Las Maravillas is a relaxed café and restaurant popular with locals and visitors.
