Accommodation
The accommodation below is for cycling holidays based in Ronda. We have two types of accommodation, self-catering apartments or hotel on a bed & breakfast basis. All accommodation options are in the centre of Ronda and our bike store is located near the train station
We are fully compliant with Junta de Andalucia COVID19 protocol that determines cleaning of accommodation for tourism and safe operation of activities.
Apartments
The self-catering apartments are all in the centre of Ronda and within 5 minutes from our bike store which is located near the train station. The apartments are within walking distance to a variety of bars, restaurants, monuments, the famous bridge, the old city quarter, tranquil shady plazas, cafes and the park with its spectacular views.
The apartments are elegant and luxurious, they are decorated to a high standard, each lounge has a large smart tv, and a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, which include a coffee machines and kettles. The beds are all large and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and modern.
All of the apartments have Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, microwaves, hair driers, shower gel and soft bath towels and slippers.
Hotels in Ronda
We are using two hotels in Ronda both on a bed & breakfast basis located in the centre of Ronda.
Hotel San Francisco 2**
Bike hotel San Francisco is our base and has excellent facilities. The breakfast room is very comfortable and serves as a lounge room in the afternoon. While you are enjoying a drink, you can watch important cycling races. All the rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone and a bathroom with a hairdryer. You can fully relax in the cosy lounge or at the roof terrace after cycling. There are also specific facilities for cyclists: a lockable room for bicycles, a workshop and a bicycle cleaning place.
Bike hotel San Francisco is located in the centre of Ronda, close to the most important attractions of the city. Nice restaurants and terraces, including the Plaza Socorro, can be found at the walking distance. The Plaza Socorro functions more or less as a “living room” of Ronda. The famous Puente Nuevo is just a 5-minute walk away, as is the Arena, where bullfights still take place during the first weekend of September. On the other side of the bridge the old part of the city is located, with its famous alleys and museums
Hotel Reina Victoria 4****
We selected the bike hotel Reina Victoria because of its great location in Ronda, where you will enjoy a beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The terrace makes a perfect place to enjoy a drink or two after your day riding. The whole hotel has been fully renovated in 2012 and the result is amazing. All the rooms have all the needed facilities and are very comfortable. A rich breakfast buffet and a swimming pool and Spa facilities turn your stay into a luxurious holiday.
The hotel is located just near the centre and the famous Puente Nuevo is just a 10-minutes walk away. On the other side of the bridge over the breathtaking gorge, an old quarter is situated, with its distinctive Arabian characteristics. Narrow alleys and surprising squares turn your walk into a real feast. In front of the bridge you will find the arena, where bullfights still take place once a year. You will also find the Plaza Socorro, the living room of Ronda here, within walking distance.
