Leisure Cycling Holidays

What to look for in leisure cycling holidays in Andalucia?

Most people want to know that the rides have been carefully researched and the itinerary is suitable for their cycling abilities with an emphasis on tourism, cuisine and comfort and NOT training.

Most leisure/recreational cyclists do not want the pressure of having to keep up with other riders. They want the freedom to stop whenever they want to, and for this reason the majority of our leisure cycling clients choose our White Villages of Andalucia Tour

What is the itinerary?

The White Villages of Andalucia Tour has been expertly planned by the Andalucian Cycling Experience team, we have hand-picked small, family run hotels that are full of character and run with people who have a passion for what they do.

Each night you will stay in a different historic Pueblo Blanco (white Village) and you will cycle through National Parks and areas of outstanding natural beauty. Our routes pass through olive groves, vineyards, and orchards of oranges and lemons.

What is the difference between Leisure Cycling Tours & Road Cycling Tours?

A Self-Guided Leisure Cycling Holiday means you have the independence to stop when you want to, to ride at your own pace, and to start your trip on any date that suits you. All this in the knowledge that the Andalucian Cycling Experience is on hand to assist you in any matter during your trip.

What about transport?

Your luggage is transferred between the hotels in a careful and punctual manner meaning your bags are always in your room when you have finished your days riding, we can also organise professional private airport transfers to/from Malaga Airport.

The roads in Andalucia are quiet and in excellent condition, we choose our routes along smaller secondary roads and Via Verdes for stress free riding that keeps you away from the crowds and our bikes are comfortable and equipped for touring. We will make sure that the bike is adjusted to your requirements for easy hassle free riding. Of course a leisure cycling holiday is a fantastic way to support sustainable, carbon neutral, tourism in rural Spain. Contact us to find out more.
