Ashley was a patient, easy-going instructor, great at explaining the technical stuff. He adapted the week to suit our needs. It was pretty much a tailor-made trip. As it was our first time mountain biking, we didn't know how our bodies were going to cope day in, day out, so it was good that there was flexibility to alter our plans as we went along.
The bikes were new, well maintained and really good quality. They would have got over everything we came across - if we had been able to. It was good to have the support vehicle just a phone call away.
The scenery was beautiful. Montecorto is limited in terms of eating out, so a car is recommended. But it is very traditional and Spanish, and the accommodation was superb with the most amazing, dramatic views across the countryside.
In all, a fun, albeit very challenging week - if you like hills, you wont be disappointed. It was full of rides which get the adrenaline going. Ashley & Claire are warm, welcoming hosts, who will do whatever they can to make sure you have a good holiday'.
