Sarah & Daniel from London, Mountain Bike Biking Holiday, October 2007 said, 'We had a fantastic mountain-biking trip. The autumnal weather meant the days were sunny and not too hot. Ashley was a patient, easy-going instructor, great at explaining the technical stuff. He adapted the week to suit our needs. It was pretty much a tailor-made trip. As it was our first time mountain biking, we didn't know how our bodies were going to cope day in, day out, so it was good that there was flexibility to alter our plans as we went along.
The bikes were new, well maintained and really good quality. They would have got over everything we came across - if we had been able to. It was good to have the support vehicle just a phone call away.
The scenery was beautiful. Montecorto is limited in terms of eating out, so a car is recommended. But it is very traditional and Spanish, and the accommodation was superb with the most amazing, dramatic views across the countryside.
In all, a fun, albeit very challenging week - if you like hills, you wont be disappointed. It was full of rides which get the adrenaline going. Ashley & Claire are warm, welcoming hosts, who will do whatever they can to make sure you have a good holiday'.

Both Ashley and Claire are excellent hosts. Ashley is a true professional at his job, selecting the best possible routes for our abilities and they both know the surrounding area as though they have lived their whole lives there. Apart from the thrills in the saddle, they also took us for a couple of hikes into the beautiful Grazalema National Park. The accommodation was top rate, a wonderful small villa within the village of Montecorto with a roof top balcony overlooking the valley. And to top it all, it's great to have holiday reps that have some basic knowledge of the country they are in. Both Ashley and Claire surpass that, they both speak fluent Spanish, are accepted residents within the village and are always on hand to help out, know the best places to eat out and if you want a day out of the saddle, the best tourist spots to visit. Out of 5 stars, they get 6.
