Bicycle Rentals

The Andalucian Cycling Experience specialises in providing cycling holidays to suit all ages and abilities. We pride ourselves in being known as 'the experts' in organising cycling holidays and bike hire in Andalucia, southern Spain.

There is a choice of Orbea road bikes, Trek hybrids or Orbea mountain bikes to hire. We also have baby seats, baby chariots, tag-a-longs and trail-gators allowing the whole family to enjoy a two wheeled adventure in southern Spain.

From our base in Montecorto, which is close to the historic town of Ronda, we can provide you with quality well maintained bikes to hire. The hire bikes are supplied to you with pumps, spare inner tubes, tyre levers, pannier bags, locks and water bottles. We can also supply you with a selection of routes, with route cards and maps, or maps of this area leaving you to explore the beautiful countryside around the Grazalema Natural Park and Serrania de Ronda.

 If you prefer we can arrange guided day rides for you too.

GENERAL TERMS

When 'renting-a-bike' you will have to:

1) show a valid i.d. (passport or drivers licence)
2) pay a 50 euro bond
3) make sure you have a travel insurance which covers you for cycling (most policies do)
4) be responsible for the bike, at all times, until it is returned to the Andalucian Cycling Experience.

Orbea Road Bikes

Road bikes are suitable for riding on road only. These bikes have Carbon forks, Aluminium frames, Shimano 105 group set with 50/34 compact and 25/12 rear cassette and Look cleats. Available in sizes 48, 51, 54, 57, 60 and 62cm.

Trek Hybrid Bikes

Hybrid bikes are suitable for riding on and off road. These bikes have front suspension, like mountain bikes but have tyres that are less knobbly than MTB tyres but wide enough to handle some loose stuff. They are 24 speed which makes the hills a little easier. Available in sizes 15, 17.5, 20 and 22 inches.

Orbea Mountain Bikes

These bikes are well equipped for Cross Country and all-mountain riding. The Orbeas mountain bikes come with front suspension, XCR front forks with 100mm of travel and disc brakes. Available in sizes 16, 18 and 20 inches.

Childrens Bikes

Orbea MX 20'' bikes are tough and durable, these 6 speed bikes are suitable for all our family rides. Designed for children between 120-135 cm (6-8 years old).

Orbea MX 24'' bikes are tough and durable, these 18 speed bikes are suitable for all our family rides. Designed for children between 135-155 cm (+8 years old).

Tag-a-longs

These 6 speed tag-a-long bikes easily connect onto the back of an adults bike and allows you child to feel the freedom of the road. Safety flag included for added visibility when out on the road.

Chariots and Seats.

If your children are to young to ride but you still want to enjoy a cycling holiday then these chariots and baby seats are your answer. Suitable for children up to 32kilos/70 pounds. (Just over 4 stone)

Trail-Gators

This 'child bike tow bar' fits onto an adults bike and your child rides independently on their own bike. When the time comes when energy levels are running low you simply hook the kids bike up and tow them home tag-a-long style. Suitable for children up to 32kilos/70 pounds. (Just over 4 stone)
